Board Meeting - 2nd Thursday's at CWB 6:30pm The Footloose Program 12 or more sailing events are schedule each season from May through September every other Saturday. We will have 8 day sails at the North Leschi Marina on Lake Washington at 400 Lake Washington Blvd. E. just north of Daniel’s Broiler. Day sails run from noon until 5 p.m. Our fleet of eight sailboats is designed for safe and fun sailing and can accommodate a wide range of disabled people. In mid August we partner with The Center for Wooden Boats on Lake Union for sailing on Saturday and Sunday. CWB is located at the south end of Lake Union at 1010 Valley Street. Blake Island Overnight Cruise 2010 The ever-popular weekend cruise to Blake Island on Puget Sound will be July 10-11. We sail from Elliot Bay Marina to Blake Island on Saturday, July 11, and return the next day. Dinner and show at Tillicum Village (optional) is usually well attended. A beach-side marshmallow roast ends the day. 28 to 52 members attend the event. Space is limited to the number of boats available, which can change from year to year, so register early for 2010!.

Footloose Members leaving their disabilities at the dock Sign Up and support Footloose 2010 (effective 10/15/09) It’s time to sign up for the 2010 season. Daily Trail Membership (Non Member) $15.00 per event Individual Membership is $25 plus $10 at regular events; includes participant and care giver. Family Membership is $45 plus $10 per person at regular events. This is for a family of 4. Request additional information Season Pass - Individual Participants Only is $100; does not include special events such as Blake Island Cruise. Season Family Pass = $250. For family of 4, all regular event fees included. Memberships are for the calandar year Jan to December. Memberships purchased September 1 to December 31 goes towards following year membership. Volunteers Volunteering for Footloose is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have. And you don’t have to be an experienced sailor to serve as a volunteer. You can help with registration and operations or be a dock escort. Our experienced all-volunteer staff will teach you the ropes and along the way you’ll learn about sailing yourself. Come join us. Email to volunteer@footloosesailing.org NEW TIMES FOR EVENTS: Volunteers should arrive at 10am for setup and assignments and plan to stay till 6pm. Bring a lunch. it takes 25 people to run the event fully.
